About
Takumi Ogata is an electronic musical instruments designer and builder. From creating robotic instruments to tangible controllers, he aims to bring engaging experience for both the performers and audiences in electronic musical performances.
His instruments have been showcased at New Interfaces for Musical Expression (NIME), National Student Electronic Music Event (NSEME), ACCelerate; ACC Smithsonian Creativity and Innovation Festival and other events. He has won 2nd place at 2017 Guthman Musical Instrument Competition.
Master (at Georgia Tech) and Bachelor (at University of Michigan) of Science in Music Technology.
